Gotta believe in the power of moderation

The third stage of battle is coming to the climax. However, the non-volatile memory in my brain seems to used up, and everything I read will be gone when I sleep.

True enough, waking up to this morning, the first challenge was to show my understanding about operating systems - Windows, Unix and such. Something that I have been using everyday without fail for more than 3 years, yet my mind was a complete blank when being asked what they are all about.

Next come the maths, something that used to come all so naturally to me, yet now become my greatest struggle. I just felt glad that I'm not majoring in it now, as I totally can't do any of the calculations, and thinking about the problems just make me feel giddy.

Now that the papers for these two modules are over, and obviously, I won't be doing well for them, all I can do now is to believe the power of moderation. So, pray hard that others taking these modules can't do the questions as well.

Lines, Lines, Lines

This weekend was nothing to be enjoyable about. After spending the whole of the weekend 2 weeks ago on the breadboard, nothing is working. Therefore, I decided to dismantle everything and start going through the wiring from scratch!! What a pain.. Luckily, the troubleshooting only includes stripping wires and not using reef knots else it will take at least another few weeks to connect everything.

Finally after 4 days of wiring, the circuit is working as it ought to or at least how i hope it will work. Now what is left is the report that will need to be handed in this wednesday. Another pain in the neck. Drawing the circuit on paper and writing some nice description about it to hand in.

Hope the evaluator will be lenient since my circuit seems really messed up, even if i try to make it look nice.

Which one is nicer? Take a look at all the overhead crossings in the second pic, as compared to the one in the first one. The difference in standard is so large between me and the other students taking this course. I'm in for a tough battle to the end.
